Harvest
Community Church
(HCC) began on November 1, 1998. We are part of the
expanding network of Brethren in Christ churches.
In
1996 the former Maytown Brethren in Christ Church voted to close
due to declining numbers and a decreasing financial base. At that
time the vision was cast for a new ministry in the area with a
different focus and target.
Families from five area Brethren in Christ churches stepped out in
faith and joined Pastor Dale Engle to launch the new congregation.
HCC
is contemporary, casual, caring, and relevant. We do things
differently, in order to relate to people who have rejected
religion. God hates religion and so do we; but we value and offer
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
